Welcome to MY SITE,

HORSES-FOR-FUN.

In this website, I will be sharing what we do here on our farm, with our 6 horses.

We are on a 23 acre farm, where we run livestock and 6 horses for our HORSESFORFUN riding school.

We run a backpackers/farmstay and have guests from all over the world.

Some stay for a few days, others for a year.

We run a riding school, and organise horse camps for people from overseas and NZ.

The people from NZ ride here, bring their horses and can stay in the hostel. They can bring their well behaved dogs too, as long as they are friendly and social.

We ride over 300 acre farmland from our neighbours and go through a pineforest with a lovely clear river swimming hole. We swim there in the summer.

We also ride through kiwifruit and avocado orchards.

Any profits we make will go to sponsering a child to attend a horsecamp, either here or elsewhere.

We promote Jesus Christ as Lord in our lives and pray before each trek.

Our horses are: Prince, Freckles, Lady, Snoopy, Freedom and Venus.

Thank you very much for an absolutely FABULOUS fun filled weekend. Right from the beginning of our trip down from the Kaipara it seemed that all our stars were in alignment to provide a truly memorable experience - a great riding group, fantastic weather & scenery, your organised, educational & generous hosts & the wonderful food, all complimented the exceptional riding experience. Thanking again for organising the farrier at the last minute for Tess.....this was very much appreciated.

I am really looking forward to doing another of your treks and hope Bid & I can get you to venture north to us in the New Year. Jan.
